I love his purdy brown eyes. 8D I'm sorry, I just had to say that.

"I can't change the world, I can only sit back and criticize it."
Stereotypical in a way huh.
But yeah, as for the hair highlights, I read somewhere in a tutorial that it's best to make the highlights of the hair just a LIGHT colour of the original.. because white lines through the middle of the hair look stupid.
And they're kinda right.
You like my digital art? Thanks... I used to always do flat colouring... but I'm trying to broaden my horizons.. cause my coloured pieces never get as much attention as linearts.... not that my linearts ever get that much attention in the first place, eh heh.
Shit what a long comment...

Gyah, no critique, but I can't help but to say that adding a color on the background would take away the excess whiteness and bring out the shading better. T'is why I normally don't use white on my characters unless it's dull.
But, is still very lovely.

That's what she said.
*SIGH*
But yeah.. background? That's a BANE to me.

My high school teacher imprinted the evilness of "negative space" in my head for four years. I get away with leaving the background white on occasion, but I cringe when I see too many deviations in white in a row in my gallery. Obsessive-compulsive, yes.
